Description
This audio converter (ADC) converts an analog stereo signal into a digital audio signal (Toslink or coaxial). If you want to listen to the audio of a turntable or CD player through your speakers, make a connection between the audio output of your turntable and the audio input of your amplifier.
The audio output of your disc player only has an analog (red-white/left-right) output, while your playback device (amplifier, soundbar, active speakers) may only have a digital (Toslink/coaxial) input.
Please note that a disc player must have a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA). Use the Connect AD12 when your audio amplifier does not have or has very few analog audio inputs.
