The constant aim of Afoi Politi EE is to provide the best possible service to our customers. This specific electronic store (e-shop) gives both our customers and all internet users the opportunity to be directly informed about the products offered by our company, as well as to make their purchases electronically.

The stated amount of installments on the page of each item with the price "from", refers to a shopping basket total of €1001 and above, calculated with all installments interest-free. The online store www.polihome.gr of the company Afoi Politi EE reserves the right to readjust prices without any obligation to inform the consumer public.

6. ORDERING PRODUCTS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION

Orders through the online store www.polihome.gr constitute the conclusion of distance selling contracts, which are governed by the legislative framework of Law 2251/1994 (as it is in force today) and the amendments referred to in PD 131/2003 (Government Gazette A' 116/16.05.2003) as well as the adaptation of Greek legislation to Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011, on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, which was published in the Official Journal of the European Union, with number L 304 of 22.11.2011 as it entered into force from 13/06/2014.

The user has the right to conclude a valid order through the online store, if they are legally capable of acting in accordance with the provisions of the Greek Civil Code (if they have completed the eighteenth year of age and are not under judicial assistance regarding the conclusion of a sales contract). Orders can also be made by legal representatives of legal entities. Afoi Politi EE, reserves the right to claim the return from the supervisor or guardian of any orders that will be made by legally incapable persons.

7. PLACING AN ORDER THROUGH THE ONLINE STORE

7.1 ORDER REQUIREMENTS

To place an order on the online store www.polihome.gr the following are required:

Filling in the special form with the necessary information for the conclusion of the sales contract. The unconditional acceptance of the terms of the sales contract and the terms of use, especially the collection and where required the use of personal data. On all pages of the online store www.polihome.gr and next to each product available for purchase, there is the button:

Add to Cart and Add to Favorites.

To continue your shopping, select from the main categories the one that contains the next item you are looking for and add it also to your cart. When you complete the process of adding products, press the "Cart" button at the top right of your screen. In order to be able to order, it is not necessary to be a member of www.polihome.gr, but we would advise you to become a member of www.polihome.gr, as the whole process will be much easier for any future use of the online store. Fill in the form with your e-mail & the password you declared during your registration and login to the members area. If you are not a member, press the "Login | Register" button at the top right part of the online store. Fill in the registration form for a new member with an active email account. The e-mail you declare must exist because all our communication will be done through the e-mail you declared during your registration. Even in the case that you do not become a member, you will be asked for personal details such as: billing and shipping address of the order, e-mail, contact phone, details necessary for the conclusion and completion of the contract between the two parties.

Order Process

The order is completed in 3 steps:

7.2 PAYMENT METHODS

To facilitate and serve all those who wish to purchase from our company's online store, www.polihome.gr has the following payment methods:

Charging your credit or debit card. The card is charged on the day the shipping process of the products begins. The online store www.polihome.gr has taken all the necessary measures for the security of your transactions through your credit card and all credit card holders are subject to validity checks. You are given the possibility of payment with interest-free installments based on the current commercial policy. By selecting this payment method, you will be transferred to a secure transaction environment of the cooperating company that has undertaken the routing of cards, where you will be asked for all your card details. It is important to necessarily mention a contact phone and a valid email address. In case your credit card is not approved by your bank, the company reserves the right to cancel your order. Cash on delivery when you receive the products. In this case, the customer will be charged with a minimum charge of 3.00 euros and a 2% surcharge for orders over 150 euros (including 24% VAT). The cash on delivery option is valid only for the area of Thessaloniki; for the rest of Greece, the above payment method is not available. The area of Thessaloniki is not charged with cash on delivery costs. In this specific payment method, the customer/user will be asked for 30% of the total amount as a down payment and the remaining 70% upon delivery/receipt of the products. In case the cash on delivery is made upon receipt of the goods from the warehouses in Sindos Thessaloniki, then there is no additional cash on delivery charge. In case of 6 months passing, from the date of notification of the receipt of the items from the supplier and the order has not been paid, the company reserves the right to release the products from your order. After completing your order, deposit in one of the above accounts the amount of the products you purchased (including shipping costs) and send us a photocopy of the deposit (where your name and your order number will be written) via email to [email protected].

If you cannot send us the proof, please send us an email with the date of deposit, the bank of deposit, the deposit number, the order number, your name and a contact phone. As soon as we receive the proof of deposit, we will start the process of executing your order.

Payment in installments without a card. By selecting tbi bank as a payment method, you are transferred to the secure environment of tbi bank. You follow a procedure and then you will be able to purchase the products of your choice with financing, defining yourself the duration and the monetary amount of your installments.

7.3 CONFIRMATION - ORDER NOTIFICATION

The consumer through the website is informed by the company before the completion of their order about the essential characteristics of the product, the price, the quantity, the transport costs, the payment method and the delivery method. With the sending of the order form, the consumer receives electronically a copy of the order to the email address they have declared during the registration of their order, which includes the detailed description of the goods of the order and a unique code, with which they will be able to monitor the progress and evolution of their order (in case they are registered).

Order Completion

Upon completion of your order, an automated electronic message (e-mail) is sent with all the details of your order that were on the previous page (please check your e-mail - the one you declared during your registration).

8. SHIPPING OF PRODUCTS

Deliveries of products are made only within the physical boundaries of Greece through the cooperating transport company-courier (and its partners) or through the transport company that the customer/user cooperates with (in this case the transport costs are not determined by Afoi Politi EE company but by the customer/user together with the transport agency of the customer/user's choice).

Shipping costs are calculated according to:

• The volume of the products
• The weight of the products
• The address and postal code of the destination
• The location of the supplier of the products that have been selected

Charges are always calculated up to the entrance of the sidewalk of the declared delivery address. In cases where the destination is an island, shipping costs are always calculated up to the headquarters of the transport agency/courier. The consumer has no obligation to pay if they do not receive the legal receipt (receipt/invoice and in case of triangular sale the delivery note). VAT 24% is included in the shipping costs. Please inform us if there are difficulties in accessing your place.

9. RETURNS - CHANGES - CANCELLATIONS

Return policy

The terms and conditions described in this policy apply to all products purchased from the online store of Afoi Politi EE through the internet at the website www.polihome.gr

Order cancellation

When you make your order through the online store Polihome (www.polihome.gr for products that belong to the range of Polihome products, you have the ability to cancel your order within the same day you made the order.

Transportation of returned products

In case you wish to return goods due to change of mind, you will need your receipt, your order form, the order confirmation e-mail and the credit card slip (in case you have paid with a credit card). For the return of your products, you can visit the Polihome distribution warehouses at the address Bi.Pe. A4, Sindos, Thessaloniki, pc.57022. Alternatively, send your request through the contact form and select the Returns Department. For any information you need, you can contact us by phone, at 215 215 4444 or 231 231 4444 from a landline or mobile with the charge of a city unit. The return request takes effect from the date you declare the request for the return of the goods.

The products you want to return must be in excellent condition, with closed packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the products unless the product falls under warranty issues due to a manufacturing defect. In case you open the product packaging, you should take care of the condition of the returned products from the moment they are delivered to you until the moment you deliver them to the company's warehouses in Sindos (the address is mentioned above).

The customer/user has the ability to return the purchased products within 15 days from the moment of receipt. In case they are not returned within 15 days, then Afoi Politi EE may not accept any return or replacement of the product.

Apart from the rights provided by the return policy, all rights that apply to consumers from existing provisions and laws regarding the sales contract, as well as any right arising in relation to the terms of guarantee of the products, are recognized in any case.

Return of the value of returned products

If you meet the return requirements, we will return to you the amount corresponding to the value of the goods you return, through bank deposit to your account unless you wish for another way of return for which you should inform us in writing.

The return of the value of the returned products will be made as soon as possible. In any case, it will be made after you notify us in writing about the request for the return of the products and we accept their return, as well as provided that the products have been delivered to the warehouses in Sindos Thessaloniki (the address is mentioned above).

Exceptions from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:

• The supply of goods or the provision of services the price of which depends on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled and which may occur within the withdrawal period.
• The supply of goods that are manufactured according to the specifications set by you as a consumer or that are not in stock and need special order from the (supplier/manufacturer).
• The supply of goods which, after delivery, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.

We do not accept returns on products that were manufactured "on order" especially for you. (Sofas, Kitchens, Wardrobes, Upholstered beds, Duvets, Mattresses, Linens) either from domestic or foreign suppliers.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with a merchant in an EU country regarding a product or service you purchased electronically, you can use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, which is provided by the European Commission. This platform is available free of charge, in all EU languages. If you submit a complaint through the ODR platform, you and the merchant will have to agree on the alternative dispute resolution body that will examine your dispute. Each body applies its own rules and procedures and is free for consumers.

10. WEBSITE CONTENT

Although Polihome updates and publishes through its website www.polihome.gr in good faith, no observation is submitted regarding the completeness or accuracy of the information included herein. Some parts of the website www.polihome.gr may be incomplete, contain errors or expire, be abolished, deleted at any time point. Polihome expressly disclaims and assumes no obligation in updating, modifying or deleting information for the website at any time point. The company Afoi Politi EE does not in any way state that the information included in the documents and announcements, published on this server, is suitable for any purpose. Every such document and related graphic representation, is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind whatsoever. Afoi Politi EE bears no responsibility or obligation for compensation for any damage and moral harm resulting from inability to provide support services. The customer/user is free to use www.polihome.gr according to the law and good morals.

11. GENERAL TERMS FOR ALL WARRANTIES

What is covered?

The content of the warranty varies for each product.

Duration of warranty- local scope of warranty validity

The time duration of the warranty according to European law covers you for 2 years from the receipt of the product, read in detail in the paragraph "Warranty terms".

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the product.

What will be done to fix the problem?

POLIHOME will examine if the product is covered by the warranty. If the defectiveness of the product or part of it is established, it will ensure the correction or repair of the problem. The choice of the method of repair rests exclusively with Polihome.

Warranty terms

The warranty is valid from the original date of purchase of the product and provided it has been purchased from Polihome. For reasons of verification of the date of purchase, it is necessary to keep the purchase receipt, as it constitutes the only proof of the date the product was purchased. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from poor assembly, misuse or storage, lack of cleanliness or scratches/hits or any other type of accident. The warranty does not cover normal wear, products that have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment or use other than domestic, unless mentioned. If the defect of the product is certified to be due to a manufacturing error, within the period of validity of the warranty, the cost of repair or replacement and transport is borne by the company. In case the defect is due to misuse of the product, within the warranty period, then the cost of its repair (spare parts, labor, transport, etc.) is borne exclusively by the consumer. For your better service, you can contact the support department of Polihome company. In any case, it is considered that the check for any damages is carried out within 14 days from the date of receipt. In case a problem or damage is reported within 14 days, it is necessary for the consumer to have at their disposal photographs of the products before opening their packages, to determine if these have been caused by the transport company.

As an exception, exhibition products, as used products, are not covered by warranty.

Regarding beds and sofas, the warranty does not cover damages of the sofa or the bed due to abnormal environmental conditions (humidity, exposure to excessive heat, cold or light, etc.), overloading, inadequate care, (tearing, burning, use of inappropriate cleaners, etc.), damages due to the use of non-authentic accessories or spare parts or due to intervention by a third person before POLIHOME.

Regarding mattresses, the warranty covers any defects due to the construction or materials of the mattress and not damages from normal wear, misuse, improper placement, lack of cleanliness, scratches, hits, or any other type of accident. During the validity of the warranty, the product or its components are either repaired by Polihome.

Products made of natural & unprocessed wood, may show slight alteration over time (e.g. In oak, beech and walnut veneer due to the naturalness of the wood there is a possibility of some color alteration from natural causes, such as sun, light or other environmental conditions).

Products made of solid wood, constitute a living organism and need special maintenance care.

The warranty of the products does not include the dispatch of company technicians, as well as the transport for replacement of the product to and from the customer's place services are charged separately and do not constitute part of the warranty. The warranty concerns the product and not its transportation.

Under no circumstances is the purchase amount of the product refunded.

General rights

Apart from the rights provided by the commercial warranty, all rights that apply to consumers from existing provisions and laws regarding the sales contract (article 5 of Law 2251/1994 and articles 534 et seq. of the Civil Code) are recognized in any case. The consumer's rights from the law are cumulative to the rights provided by the warranty.

12. MISCELLANEOUS

Force majeure: If for reasons of force majeure (e.g. bad weather conditions, strikes, etc.) it is not possible to deliver the products to you within the predetermined time, we will inform you via email, in order for you to declare if you wish, under these conditions, the completion of your order. Afoi Politi EE bears no responsibility for any situation that is beyond its own fault and will do what is humanly possible for your better service.

In cases where you have registered an electronic order and upon receipt you find that some product (or products) is missing from the total order, please contact us, so that we can arrange all the necessary details and send you the products you did not receive without any additional charge.

Modification of the terms of this: www.polihome.gr reserves the right to modify or renew the terms and conditions of transactions. The company undertakes the obligation to update this text for any change or addition to the terms.

Stock sale category: The stock sale category includes products from older collections that are no longer available in the market, or are the last pieces in our warehouse. These products are delivered assembled and may show small damages.

In case of non-receipt of the ordered goods (and provided that a long time has passed since the registration of the order), please contact customer service at the email address [email protected]. For your better and faster service, we would recommend you to mention the special order code that has been sent to the email address you declared during your order.
